Hey Everyone, My name is Ben Castro. If you know me, you probably know that I like to compete in mud runs such as the Spartan Race, Tough Mudder or the Warrior Dash. I also like to scuba dive and am currently on a quest to scuba dive in all 50 states. . You might also know me as the guy that works for the Sheriff's Office or even the guy that frequents Austin's live music scene. Most of my friends know that I'm usually the one that will show up when they ask for help with anything and I never expect anything in return. Regardless of how you know me, you probably know that I'm very active and I love to get out and do a lot of the same things that you may like to do. Not everyone is as fortunate as you or me. Some children don't have the luxury of good health. They may never get to do any of the things that we take for granted. I want to do something for these children so that they can have a chance to do something special. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central & South Texas helps grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with Hope, Strength, & Joy. They do this with donations that they get from people like you and me. I'm asking you to help me to raise $1500 for this cause. What's in it for me you may ask? Well I get the satisfaction of knowing that I helped encourage my friends to do something for a great cause. It's also worth mentioning that 100% of the money you are donating goes directly to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. If I can raise the money, I'll have the opportunity to rappell down the One American Center on Saturday, May 5th, or Sunday May 6th 2012. This is a 32 Floor building located at 6th and Congress. It would be nice to have you come out and support me on the day that I do this. I know that money is tight with the economy the way it is. Anything will help, even a few dollars and if you just can't do it then I would like to ask you to at least help me get the word out by sending this to as many of your friends as possible. They only have 300 spots available as the equipment and personnel are limited. This is a rare opportunity and an amazing experience. I’d love to have you be a part of this with me!!!
